It is almost the 2 year anniversary of me making a New Year's Resolution to get in shape, and for once I stuck to it and never looked back! One of the best decisions I made!
Don't let your splurges ruin your mood! I let myself eat freely on holidays, and honestly with having that freedom, I don't even eat as much as I would think. We've been traveling on the holidays so I just use that as my rest day for the week and get back to my workouts when I'm home. Have faith in yourself. If you have been wanting to start a fitness regimen, what are you waiting for?! If you need a push, join a gym that a friend goes to (or sign up WITH a friend) or sign up for workout classes, then you will hold yourself accountable. Just start somewhere. There is too much evidence of the health benefits of exercise.
