Hey guys! Happy Spring! (?) If you live in the Midwest, like I do, it has been brutally cold and there are winter weather advisories...I just want some warmer weather!
Anyways... Brazil Butt Lift has come to an end! I absolutely LOVED the program and highly recommend it! The program does not only concentrate on the lower body. The workouts incorporate body movements that work everything! The sculpt workout does quite a number on your triceps! My losses were not huge, but I am happy that I have some more tone in my thighs because that was, and still is, a trouble spot for me... and yes, the booty got lifted! lol... those that are friends with me on MFP can check out pictures of my results on my blog there.

This is what's up next!! I start the Body Beast program tomorrow and I cannot be any happier!!!
My boyfriend and I decided to invest in the Bowflex SelectTech weights (pictured below) since I only had free weights that went up to 20 lbs and I'd need heavier for Body Beast =)
It is going to take me a little while to play with my macros and get my calories right but I will be eating more and starting with about 50/30/20 [carbs/protein/fats] as my macros.
Another new addition is an Omron Body Composition scale (also pictured below) because I want to start monitoring my body fat percentage. I'm pretty excited about that!

For those interested in my supplementation during the program. Here is what I use:
In addition to that I take Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil Omega 3's twice a day and Biotin twice a day. That is what has been working for me, but everyone is different!! =) I have not tried the pre-workout yet, I will be starting it tomorrow so I'll report back on that!
In other absolutely amazing and awesome news... I got accepted to Purdue University's Doctor of Pharmacy program!!!! I just found out yesterday and I have been in shock with a near permanent smile on my face lol... I've worked so hard for the past three years in pre-pharmacy for this moment!!! My last day in my current apartment is June 30th so I have a lot of packing to do plus looking for a new apartment!! The University is over 2 hours away from where I live now... I'm excited to be in a new town! ... ALSO Trader Joe's will now be 51 miles away instead of 99.5 miles away (like it is now) so I'll be able to stock up on delicious affordable food!!!
I can't believe we're in the last week of March already! With that being said... who is ready with their April goals?! I created an April challenge (pictured below) that includes planks, mountain climbers, and push-ups. My push-ups have definitely weakened since I've completed Insanity, so that's something I want to work on. Other than that, I'll be working on Body Beast and trying to get my macros under control... and look for a new apartment! I took this last week off from calorie counting because I was SO stressed out waiting to hear back from Purdue and with schoolwork boggling me down... turned out I lost a pound! Which leads me to believe that I have a pretty good grasp on eating healthy and within a good calorie range =)
Here are some current challenges that you might want to try! :

Alrighty well my tummy is growling! Time for dinner! Whole grain pasta with a homemade sauce and a salad on the side! =) Love me some carbs!
I hope everyone is kicking butt and having a fantastic March! Enjoy Easter this Sunday!! My boyfriend and I have gone the month without eating/buying any candy or me making any brownies, which has been a huge feat! We're excited to indulge in a homemade brunch on Sunday and some Little Debbie Easter cakes because they are a weakness for me!! lol
