Hey guys! I have completed 21 days of Insanity so far! The name definitely lives up to the workouts. Holy intense! I love a good challenge though. It's so important to switch things up, especially to break through plateaus. Once I complete 4 weeks, I will take some measurements and get my body fat % re-tested. The last time it was tested was before the Chalean Extreme Lean Circuit month, so i'm overdue!
How is everyone doing with their December goals and challenges? I'm currently doing the December squat & push-up challenge. Pictured below... it's not too late to join in! Just get caught up! ;)

I've noticed many statuses on FaceBook and MyFitnessPal or even on Instagram of people struggling with this holiday season. Many have not been able to get back on track after Thanksgiving. Between the stress of finals approaching (tomorrow!) and the stress of the holidays, I can understand how some people can fall off the wagon. I'm thankful to be doing a program with a schedule. I feel like that really helps keep me on track. It will be a little difficult to fit in workouts this coming week with the way my finals are scheduled, but i'm still going to do them! I'll work around it :)
Honestly, I haven't been the best with my "no dessert" challenge. Out of the 8 days, I had dessert on 4 of them. However, one dessert was sugar free jello & pudding, so at least I was keeping calories and sugar down, which is still a plus! It's very difficult for me to kick this sweet tooth, but I'm improving =)
A friend of mine showed me a sample 10 minute workout from Brazil Butt Lift and I love it! I will consider purchasing that one in the near future!
Well, I must begin my day of studying, but I wanted to check in with how everyone's December is going! I will leave you with an awesome motivational pic I found:

So remember why you are doing this! Fitness is a full-time, year-round thing! I love wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt knowing that underneath it i'm building up a BeachBody! ;) Stay strong friends, we got this! Don't beat yourself up over a treat here and there, or a day where you went over calories (calorie-cycling is a good thing!), just get up strong the next day and workout! A good sweat cures a lot!
Good luck to my fellow school friends as they enter finals week! We're almost free! =)
